Carl Endenburg is the Director of Copper Quail (Mauritius) and Africa Deployments (Mauritius). Carl has a passion for Africa as well as Training with a vision of making a difference in the continent. Carl moved to Mauritius in April 2017 to launch Copper Quail which is a specialist headhunting business specialising in finding rare skills in Africa. In 2018 Carl launched Africa Deployments together with Eugenio Maggi which is a professional Employer of Record business to align with the established Africa headhunting solutions.
Eugenio Maggi
Eugenio MaggiOperations Director
Eugenio has been providing Human Resources across Africa for the past 12 years and has extensive experience traveling the region. He also gained valuable experience having lived in Luanda, Angola for 2 years. He was instrumental in setting up the outsourced employment division in his previous company he worked for which included organizations from Non-Profit, Mining, Oil & Gas, Banking & Finance, Engineering and Manufacturing. Having left the company at the beginning of 2016 to pursue personal interests and to work out his restraint of trade he returned to the industry he knows best in late 2017 and in partnership with Carl Endenburg started Africa Deployments to cater for their client’s needs across Africa, based out of Mauritius. Eugenio has worked with large organizations in setting up employer of record solutions & payroll in Africa and subsequently gained a specialist reputation amongst his clients as the “go to man”.


Sharné Naik

In 2017 Sharné graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology, she then decided to feed her insatiable passion of changing the lives of those around her by pursuing a career in Recruitment. Highlighting her success, she successfully graduated from the internship program, taking with her expert knowledge and experience in a diversity of industries. Throughout her journey she has gained exposure in the following industries: Financial Services, Commerce, IT/ Telecommunications, FMCG, Manufacturing, Mining, Engineering and Agriculture. Sharné currently heads up the Agriculture division, rooting her services in humanitarian concerns. She actively provides talent and internal business operational support for companies in the four main and related sectors of Agriculture – Crops, Livestock, Fishery and Forestry.

Apart from sourcing top tier candidates and matching them to client specifications, Harry is quite the “tech”. He heads up our internal IT department.

Alexandra Anderson

Alex obtained a National Diploma in Project Management and has 15 years’ experience in the Recruitment and Resourcing field. She has concentrated extensively over this period on specialised recruitment for the IT and Telecommunications industries as well as, Finance and Fintech, covering specialised and Executive search and recruitment into Africa. Prior to recruitment Alex worked for 7 years with the IT Solutions arena growing market share for a Fintech company. She has diverse exposure in not only the sourcing of specialised talent but also managing IT Recruitment Teams as well as IT/ ICT projects for large corporate clients. This has also included setting up the resourcing and coaching for Digital contact centres.


David Muller

David graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Organisational Psychology and Industrial Sociology. He has over 10 years’ experience in the Talent Acquisition arena with eight years spent in Agency Recruitment and has recruited extensively locally in South Africa and into Africa. He also spent a tenure of two years ‘onsite’ as a HR Consultant: Recruitment and Selection with an influential Banking Institution in the South African market and he serviced over 50 branches in the North-West province. David has extensive Executive Search exposure and has successfully placed up to CEO level within the Mining and Telecommunications industries across the African continent.
