Looking for a Financial Research Analyst with Fund and Investment experience.

Based in Mauritius North

The outline of the duties will be as follows but not limited to:

•             Fund performance attribution

•             Preparing fund comparisons and back tests

•             Researching funds and individual securities

•             Performing daily price checks on the NAV of funds and investigating any price discrepancies

•             Preparing trade sheets and assisting with settlement of trades

•             Preparation for Investment Committee meetings and presenting fund performance and attribution analysis

•             Researching companies, particularly in terms of their financial functioning

•             Analysing company accounts, profit and loss and cash flow information

•             Interpreting complicated financial information

•             Writing financial research summaries

•             Actively participating in Investment Committee meetings and making informed recommendations

•             Collating detailed, up to date economic and financial market information

Requirements

Must have a relevant degree

CFA preferred

Experience in a similar role
