Job Description

Legal and Corporate Governance Manager required for Aviation company in Grand Baie.



1. Tertiary qualification in Law/Legal or a related field.

2. Record of success in the preparation of contracts in a business environment. Can demonstrate effective contract writing skills.

3. Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and DOCUSIGN.

Knowledge/ Experience:

1. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience.

2. Experience in Company Secretarial and/or Corporate Governance and /or Compliance Officer work in a global environment.

3. Experience in drafting contracts, resolutions, agreements, SLAs.

4. Experience in French, South African, Irish, and Mauritian law would be advantageous.

5. Experience in aviation will be advantageous.

1. Excellent communicator. Fluent in English and French - written and verbal essential.

2. Project Management competencies and experience.

3. Excellent literacy skills, with an extensive vocabulary and high attention to detail.

4. Deadline driven and effective time management skills to manage several overlapping work streams.

5. Able to give constructive legal advice and feedback to authors/contributors and Leadership Team colleagues.

6. The ability to work with a team to produce accurate, high-quality information to all stakeholders to produce timeous and accurate legal content.

7. Personal integrity which complies with confidentiality, security, and traceability requirements.

8. Compliance and risk management.

9. Ability to work remotely from various teams needing assistance from global offices.
